Bungay in heavy defeat at Wymondham

Wymondham Town 6-0 Bungay
Bungay battled well and kept the game tight for the first 30 minutes, but two goals in two minutes put the home side on top and they dominated the second-half. Click here for match report.

Next game: Framlingham Town HOME Saturday 21st September, KO 2.30pm, CNet Training Suffolk senior Cup 1st Round.

Ladies hit 6; Reserves and 'A' beaten

The Ladies made it 31 goals in three games as they beat visitors Freethorpe 6-0, with Leanne Smith getting four of the goals, making it twelve in three weeks for her. The other scorers were Selina Rowland and Charlotte Power - her first goal for Bungay after ten years at the club!
Bungay Reserves were 0-3 down at half-time, and a second-half comeback to 2-3 wasn't quite enough to earn a point. The 'A' team lost 1-4 at home against Earsham Reserves.

Alan Cook Removals new main club sponsor

The club are delighted that Alan Cook Removals have agreed to be the main club sponsor.

Sponsorship for Girls and Ladies Teams

The club are delighted that the Ladies side have gained new sponsors, and the team are now looking very smart in their new away kit, kindly sponsored by WindowWizard of Lowestoft.
They also have jackets sponsored by Travis Perkins - Beccles branch.
They have also been lucky to have been sponsored by Swift Fitness Gym and Everyday's a Picnic with new training tops.
The Club are extremely grateful to these companies for the support.

Four wins for junior teams

The girls' sides started their fixtures last weekend, and both sides have won their opening games. The Under 15s have won both their first two games - 4-0 at home against Taverham Tornados (two goals each for Brianna Rand and Freya Scott), and then 5-0 away at Aylsham.
The Under 13s had a huge 17-0 win at Beccles last week, with Lily Alexander scoring 7 and Mia Rose 5.

The boys' teams started their fixtures this weekend. The Under 15s lost 1-2 at home against Thorpe Rovers (scorer Frances Pullinger), but the Under 13s won 9-3 at Martham. The two Under 12 sides were both involved in close games - the Under 12s won 1-0 at Mulbarton Wanderers Falcons, but the Black Dogs lost 0-1 away at Kirkley & Pakefield Dragons.
