Already watching many junior sides as i can over the past 3 weeks and this will continue on a regular basis, with a Results update every Monday Morning on the Website concerning all Bungay sides that have played over the weekend.
The Ladies have reached the Semi Finals of the Cup,they have drawn Ipswich Town a very hard fixture, but a game the Ladies will play and give it a real go. This side has come on leaps and bounds over the last 12 month, with numbers joining going up and up. This is credit to Graham Purling for all of his hard work, and I'm sure he's had some help as well, so good luck in the Semi Final and well done to all involved. There is some exciting news coming with Junior Girls in the near future, with potentially 3 or 4 new sides joining Bungay Town. Joanne Pipe has put in some really hard work with the Bungay Wildcats, and we as a club are very grateful for what she does, and she deserves heaped praise as well.
Rob Moore has come in as 1st team manage, and is already working hard behind the scenes. He has appointed Alan Day as his number 2,and there will be more announcements from the club soon. He knows it's a tough job, but he is prepared to work har, and we as a club are very happy He decided to take the job and hopefully the club forward in time.
It must also be said at this juncture, that the club would like to thank Matt Lowe,John Riches and Steven Thompson-Friend for keeping the 1st team in Senior Football, they took on a very tough job,and a very difficult time, and worked hard to keep us up.
I must also wish Andy Adcock's U13's all the very best in their Cup Final at Holt this coming Sunday Morning (16th May),a great achievement by all concerned.
