He won the Supporters’ Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Manager’s Player of the Year accolades, after a season in which he finished as top scorer with 12 goals, and in which his powerful surges from mid-field were a feature.
The team finished fifth in the Anglian Combination division one in their first season back in senior football.
Reserves Players’ Player was Peter Fuller and manager’s player was Dan Lowe – who took the same award for the Sunday first team. Brother Aiden Lowe won that team’s players’ player award.
Dan Parker was named Bungay A’s Players’ Player, and Ben Lavender the manager’s player.
In the U18s, Luke Spears was players’ player and Jaymel Baynes the manager’s player. Both awards in the Sunday Reserves went to Callum Ling, while in the veterans, Andrew Thawley was players’ player and Matty Lewis the manager’s player.
Matty James won the award as overall leading scorer for the club, despite being on crutches for the last few weeks of the season, and the chairman’s mug went to A team manager Dave Went for the second season in a row.
